“Worlds In A Small Room” is one of those recordings I’ve enjoyed since the 80s, but it was only relatively recently I was able to watch the video version in decent quality (it’s on YouTube). I assumed that you created the tracks without the images particularly in mind, but I was surprised at how good they work with the film – and the video version uses some different elements (such as communications chatter). How integral to the writing and recording process was the video?

Pretty important. It was essentially like composing a soundtrack except the film was ultimately edited to the music as opposed to the other way around.
